What should I do about this strange kid?!?

Okay, so I'm 15 years old. In my drivers ed class theres this guy who I thought was pretty cute on the first few days. I didn't really know him so it's not like I have a crush on him or anything. But anyways, on Friday when class was over he dropped a note on my desk on his way out. It said his name and number and that I should text him. So I was pretty excited because I thought he was really cute. I texted him and we were just talking. He was saying how he thought I was really cute and hes glad I texted him blah blah blah. So he was acting like he wanted to date me but it turns out he lives 45 minutes away from me in a town I've never heard of. I told him I didn't want a long distance relationship and he said he could convice me. I thought that was a little weird since he has never actually talked to me. Then he tells me that he met some girl from Pennsylvania (we live in Indiana) through an IPOD TOUCH APP. And he dated her for 5 months and his parents drove him halfway to pennsylvania a few times a month to see a girl he has never met before. Ithought that was really creepy and strange... He seems so desperate. I stopped texting him so much and dropped so many signs that I wasn't interested anymore. Then he tried to sit by me in drivers ed and I sat somewhere else. He keeps texting me saying how cute I looked and I am totally uninterested now. What should I do to get rid of him?
