Is the University of Pennsylvania good for students interested in medicine?

I want to become a pediatrician, so I want the best education in medicine best medical school, and I live in Philadelphia so the University of Pennsylvania is close, Is it a good school? i wont go if its fine, I wanted it to be very good. I know Harvard is better and stuff but its farther away and more expensive and I have a chance to stay close... so is good or somewhere in between?
