Do New York high school students have the exactly same schedule everyday?

I am a high school freshman who just finished the school year in Pennsylvania this week. My family will move to NY the next week. I will enroll in a local high school as a sophomore the next school year. I once used to lived in NYC when I was in 7th grade. I took different classes everyday when I was in NY (ex: Monday and Tuesday's classes are different). However, I took same classes everyday when I was in 8th grade (ex: Monday and Tuesday's classes are same). I am curious does that happen in NY high school too (I will be moved to a suburb this time instead of NYC)? If it does happen, are you still taking the same classes everyday but with a random class order? One more question: Are you taking your classes individually, or are you taking them with the same people (I mean the class mode when you were in the middle school, which you go to the classes with same people every class period)?
