My bird randomly died..........?

ok this happened like a year ago but it still bothers me because it's like he just dropped dead..............he was only like 6 months old and the night before he was playin and singin and just doin what a normal healthy budgie would do..........do any of yall know what could have possibly happened???? if you dont that's ok too
