Can you take your regents if your did not actually take the class?
I am just finished my high school freshman year in Pennsylvania. My family will move to New York State next week, and I will enroll in a NY local high school as a sophomore the next school year. My new school offer many kinds of diploma for students (ex: Regent Diploma, Regent Advanced Diploma, etc.) I want to have an advanced diploma when I graduate from high school. However, the school requires a passing score of regent exam for algebra and geometry if I want to have an advanced diploma (I took Algebra 1 in 8th grade and geometry in 9th in Pennsylvania). Does anyone know is it possible to take the regents exam without actually take the classes (I mean if I had took the classes in the other state)? Thank you so much if you would like to answer my question.
